Water Damage
From leaking faucets to burst pipes and flooding, water damage is one of the most common and potentially destructive problems you can face as a homeowner. If not taken care of immediately, excess water in your home can promote electrical hazards, cause expensive damage to your home’s structure and furnishings, and can even lead to the growth of hazardous mold. When the worst happens, call the experts at Ashcraft Services.
Fire and Smoke Damage
After a fire disaster strikes, we’re there to help make your life whole again. Mold Damage
Don’t let unattended mold harm your health and structural integrity of your home. One of the worst contaminants known is the silent but dangerous growth of mold. Mold can grow indoors on wet or damp surfaces, such as wallpaper, ceiling tiles, carpets, insulation material, wood and drywall. It can start to grow within 48 hours and if left unchecked, can have serious impacts on both your quality of life and your home’s physical structure. If you see signs of mold or suspect that it has infected your home, we’re here to help remediate the problem and prevent long-term damage. Mold is present everywhere in nature, but when it finds its way into your home it can be a major problem. Ashcraft Services use infrared technology as part of the mold detection process and special chemicals to help remediate the mold and protect your home. Take action at the first sign of mold. If the mold growth already seems large, call the experts at Ashcraft Services.
Ash Removal & Air Purification
Let us clean the air or ash from your home or work environment to keep you safe from harmful toxins.
Ash Cleanup:
For homes or offices that have been impacted by major ash build-up, we offer ash clean up services that remove the ash rather than just spreading it around and scratching your floors and furnishings.
Air Purification with Air Scrubbers:
An air scrubber is a device that is used to remove particles, gases, or chemicals from the air within a given area. While most air filtration systems of this type are designed to handle only one of these types of pollutants, there are a few industrial air cleaners that will handle two and even all three contaminants.
Most scrubbers are configured to complete at least six cycles of operation each hour, helping to keep the air in the space free of any type of contamination. Our air scrubbers can handle all three of the contaminants.
In any facility where airborne contaminants are common, the use of an air scrubber is one of the best ways to protect the health of the employees/inhabitants. The right air scrubber will make particle control much more effective than simply providing employees/inhabitants with face masks and decrease the potential for the bronchial condition known as white lung.
Another application of the air scrubber as an essential part of workplace/home safety equipment is to remove gases from the air within a space. This can be especially helpful in laboratories and other facilities where fumes are common. The effective fumes control of the right scrubber significantly reduces exposure to gases that over time could have a detrimental impact on the health of anyone in the area.
Like most air filtration systems, an air scrubber makes use of purification filters that help to remove contaminants as the air within the space is circulated through the system. Several times each hour, the scrubber draws the contaminated air from the space while simultaneously pumping in fresh air that is free of gases, chemicals, or airborne particles. Many designs call for the inclusion of high efficiency particle air filters, commonly known as HEPA filters. These filters can capture a considerable number of contaminants, making them more efficient than many other types of filters. In addition, a good quality HEPA filter does not have to be changed as often as other filters, a quality that many consumers find attractive.
The size and complexity of an air scrubber system will depend on the size of the space that the unit will service, as well as the range and type of contaminants that must be removed from the area. Some air scrubbing systems can be installed with ease. We have portable air scrubbers that are easily set up and require nothing more than a GFI outlet to run.
